Lindsay has over 15 years of experience working with and learning from social justice organizations, issue campaigns, and progressive candidates. She is deeply dedicated and driven personally and professionally to building political power for underrepresented and marginalized communities. Lindsay began her career as a community organizer with Planned Parenthood and grew to specialize in building data-informed, strategic, and large-scale direct voter contact programs as the Data and Targeting Director at America Votes and State Director of Win Justice. She most recently served as Deputy Director of Michigan Voices and was an integral leader in the coalition and volunteer efforts that led to the successful Reproductive Freedom for All ballot initiative. Through her roles at both the c(3) and c(4) infrastructure tables, she has supported over 100 organizations through leadership development, strategic planning, coalition building, and coordination to strengthen the collective impact of our movement. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. Her most important role is mother to her two amazing daughters.

John has over 20 years of experience building political power at the state and national level and developing needed infrastructure to advance the goals of the progressive movement. He has successfully led the development, funding, implementation, management, tracking, and evaluation of large-scale, data-driven electoral and ballot measure campaigns in Michigan and across the country. Driven by his passion for social justice, he advises and supports the growth of diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations, campaigns, and programs through his work on various non-profit and infrastructure organization boards and committees.

Megan Zapinski

Megan brings nearly 20 years of experience strengthening organizational operations and infrastructure in the nonprofit and advocacy space. She has led core functions including financial tracking, scheduling, reporting, and strategic planning to ensure alignment between day-to-day operations and broader organizational goals. At Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, where she served as Vice President of Operations, Megan supported board governance and played a key role in national youth engagement efforts through her involvement with the Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Health Center Advisory Board and Youth Leadership Advisory Council. Her career reflects a deep commitment to building effective, mission-driven systems that power long-term impact.
Dani Vilella - CEO, Allodox Strategies

Dani is the President and Founder of Allodox Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that partners with nonprofit organizations to advance strategic planning, advocacy and electoral program development, and ballot initiative implementation, challenge, and defense. Through Allodox Strategies, she has contributed to over 20 petition and nomination signature reviews, challenges, and defenses in 11 states. Notably, she played a key role in the 2022 removal of five fraudulent gubernatorial candidates in Michigan and the defeat of multiple harmful ballot initiatives, including a proposed abortion ban in 2018. Dani has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with over 13 years focused on gender, reproductive justice, and progressive social justice. Dani has led successful efforts across 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), PAC, Coordinated, and Independent Expenditure programs. Her expertise spans field organizing, grassroots lobbying, volunteer and staff management, campaign and program design and evaluation, coalition building, compliance, and leadership coaching.
Don Marfia

Getting started as a canvasser in 2018, Don brings over 7 years of experience in campaign organizing and over a decade of training, systems implementation, and management experience to the team. Having worked nationally with both volunteers and paid staff for every type of campaign there is as a part of several award-winning teams, he is excited to bring all of his knowledge, opportunity, and success back to his home state of Michigan. When he is not busy standing on the side of justice, equity, and truth, he spends his time with his wife raising their two boys to do the same.
Kelsey Heck Wood

Kelsey grew up in a small town in rural Northern Michigan, where she attended HeadStart programs and her mom waited tables to provide for their family. She is a proud advocate for - and product of - public education, and is the first person in her family to graduate from college. Kelsey has over a decade of experience in field campaigns, data analysis, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Mobilize Michigan, she worked as the Data Director at America Votes Michigan, the Michigan State Director at Run for Something, and served as a council member for the City of Jackson. Whether it is her experience in c(3) and c(4) spaces, direct candidate coaching and support, fundraising for her own campaign, or writing and passing local policies, Kelsey has a varied and unique set of skills to approach any problem with data-informed solutions. She lives in Jackson with her spouse, toddler, and two cats.
Victor Jimenez

Victor is a Regional Field Director, where he leads large-scale voter engagement and ballot initiative campaigns across Southeast Michigan. A proud son of Southwest Detroit, Victor brings a deep understanding of grassroots power and the belief that organizing is both strategy and art — layered, intentional, and built to last. With roots in the nonprofit sector and frontline campaign work, Victor has shaped major statewide efforts, from historic reproductive rights initiatives to environmental justice fights. His work isn’t just about field goals or numbers — it’s about shifting narratives and building something that reflects the beauty and grit of the communities he comes from. Whether managing hundreds of canvassers or anchoring neighborhood strategy, Victor blends structure with soul.
